Resistor code

All engineering student facing this problem at least one time in its engineering carrier is,how to calculate or know value of resistor a color code of resistor. so today we will discuss about it.

To know it refer this table than we will discuss some examples so you can get better idea.

Example:

1) If color is Red-Red-brown and gold than resister value will be 22*10=220 Ω  and 5% tolerance

2) If color is red-brown-orange and silver than value of resistor will be 21*1000=21 Ω and 10% tolerance

3) If color is grey-violet-blue and none than value of resistor will be 87*1000000=87 MΩ and 20% tolerance.

so,by this way we can identify any resistor's color code.
