Frequency
What is frequency?
→ In simple word frequency means number of event repeating occurs per unit time. Let us take one example so that you can understand more clearly.
→ Unit of Frequency is Hertz. if frequency is high than unit will be Kilohertz(KHz) or Megahertz(MHz).
→Relation between frequency and Time Period is in inverse proportion. F=1/T.
Example:-
→suppose there is one wave who completes 100 cycles or events in 2 seconds than frequency of that wave is,
frequency of wave= (no, of event occurs) / Unit times
= 100 / 2
= 50 Hz
In fig. different different waves with different frequencies are shown. Here in 1st wave it is completed 2 event in unit time let say 1 second than frequency of it will be 2 Hz. same for 2nd and 3rd it will be 2.5 Hz and 6 Hz.
→If number of repeating event per unit time is increasing than frequency of wave will also increases.
